The Petzl ASAP is a mobile fall arrester to stop a fall as quickly as possible. 
Its advantages are that it can:- 

• run freely up or down a rope, 

• can be attached at any point, 

• lines need only be fixed from above 
  (due to super smooth action of locking wheel). 

The ASAP locks in an uncontrolled descent and will even lock if the device is accidentally grabbed during a fall.

The benefits of the above features are increased safely and less time in preparation.

The ASAP comes complete with OK TRIACT Caribiner, for use by itself. It can also be used with an ASAP'sorber lanyard to increase the distance of the worker to the safety line to allow an increased range of movement.
